Recently Asked Questions for the Photographer
Q- How long does it take to edit the Black Background Photos?
A- It takes me around 30 mins per Image to fully edit and add the background color.
Q- Do you have to take the photos in specific lighting?
A- Generally yes, I tend to take the photos in an isle way of a barn (with the lights turned off), or an indoor arena (also with the lights turned off). Turning the lights off allows for natural lighting to flow through, and shine onto the horse while shadowing the rest of the image, allowing the photo to be easier to edit!
Q- How do you prepare for a Black Background Photoshoot, and is it different from a normal Horse and Rider?
A- Preparing for a Black Background photoshoot is similar to a normal Horse and Rider photoshoot. You are recommended to groom and or wash your horse beforehand. Also, cleaning any tack you are planning on placing on your horse is a great idea! Clean bridles, leather halters, and saddles show up extra shiny in photos making them look brand new! Having a venue with an indoor arena and indoor isle way would work best for Black Background images.
